Sending Bank Wire Fee: Determined by the Sending Bank (including any intermediary banks)

Step One:

Go to your Sending Bank branch or online banking to initiate an international wire transfer to your East West Bank account.

*Listed below are some of the Mainland China banks that support online international wire transfers with no branch visit needed. Check with your bank for service details.

  • Agricultural Bank of China
  • Bank of China
  • China Construction Bank
  • Bank of Communications
  • China Merchants Bank
  • China CITIC Bank International
  • China Minsheng Bank

Step Two:

Choose international wire as your transfer method. Funds must be sent as U.S. Dollars (USD).

Step Three:

Input all required information. You can click the [My Account Details] button above to obtain the information you'll need to enter about your account.

Step Four:

Submit your completed wire transfer request. You should expect to receive the funds in your account in 5 - 7 business days. Actual delivery timing may vary depending on the Sending Bank.

Notes
  1. The recipient name and recipient account number must must match for funds to be credited.
  2. If your Sending Bank requires your address to be in a U.S. format, you my use East West Bank's "Recipient Bank Address".
  3. If your sending bank presents you with multiple address options for East West Bank, you may select any branch address that is associated with East West Bank.
