PayPal Sending Transfer Fee: Determined by PayPal

Step one:

Log in to your PayPal account.

Step two:

On the main screen, click on the “Wallet” tab. Then, click on “Link a bank account”.

Step three:

In the search box, search and select “East West Bank”.

Step four:

Select “Link your bank another way” at the bottom on the screen. Instant verification is currently not available for East West Bank accounts.

Step five:

Enter required information and then click on “Agree & link”.

Step six:

Enter the security code that was sent to your mobile phone, or answer the security question(s) if prompted.

If adding an account on PayPal China, you will need to call the PayPal call center to validate your ownership of the account.

Step seven:

After linking your account, return to the “Wallet” tab and select the PayPal “Balance”.

Step eight:

Click on “Transfer Money” and then select “Transfer to your bank”.

Step nine:

Select the ”EAST WEST BANK” account with the last 4 digits of your account number and tap on ”Next”.

Step ten:

Enter amount and proceed.

Step eleven:

Review transfer and tap on “Transfer $X.XX USD Now” to complete transfer.

  1. When linking your account to receive transfers, you'll see East West Bank as the bank name.

After the validation process, $1.95 will be refunded to your account.
