Venmo Sending Transfer Fee: Determined by Venmo

Step one:

Launch the Venmo App.

Step two:

Tap on the menu icon (represented by three lines) at the top left of the screen.

Step three:

Tap on “Settings” then tap on “Payment Methods”.

Step four:

Tap on “Add bank or card…”and select "Bank".

Step five:

Select “Manual Verification”. Instant verification is currently not available for East West Bank accounts.

Step six:

Enter required information then tap on “Save and continue”.

Step seven:

After your account has been linked, return to the menu icon at the top left of the screen.

Step eight:

Tap on “Transfer Balance” which is located next to your Venmo balance.

Step nine:

Enter desired amount then select "1-3 biz days".

Step ten:

Select bank to transfer to. Your account will be listed as “East West Bank” followed by the last 4 digits of your account number.

Step eleven:

Tap on “Transfer $X.XX” to complete transfer.

Notes:
  1. When linking your account to receive transfers, you'll see East West Bank as the bank name.
